Sourcefire has introduced two novel security appliances designed to assist users in the deployment of the solutions they need to meet the demands of their specific network. The new appliances comprise of the DC500, the entry-level Defense Center which helps the users to manage up to three Sourcefire 3D Sensors and store up to 2.5 million security and compliance events. The DC500 also delivers central management for branch offices. Small and medium-size businesses have discovered a cost-effective alternative for the protection of sensitive information like credit card data.
